The use of raft foundation for many kinds of structures is more popular nowadays. Few research works focused on raft foundation in ground subsidence has been published. FE analysis and centrifugal test of a raft foundation on soft clay under effect of ground subsidence was presented in this paper. Ground subsidence caused by ground water pumping was simulated by draining water at the bottom of the model. Vertical distribution load was applied to the surface of the raft. The results showed that ground subsidence had a remarkable effect on the settlement of raft foundation.
