Isi artikel
Investigation conducted on cave-in of tunnel roof built on claystone and breccia soil in Dam Project - West Java, Indonesia strongly indicated that it was triggered by simultaneous blasting at the surface of the spillway. The roof collapse in the diversion tunnel is within 60 meters distance from the center of the blasting. The rock layer which made the roof of the diversion tunnel was Breccia Layer that has sheared zone (crack). This paper examine the effect of simultaneous blasting on tunnel roof in 2D/ 3D Finite Element modeling.
