Isi artikel
In this study the prevalence and correlates .of courtship violence were examined in a sample of 202 male Canadian college students. Interactions between vulnerability factors and precipitating factors were expected to be particularly important. Results show that over 42% of the sample had engaged in some form of courtship violence, although the more extreme forms of violence were not evident. Hypotheses regarding interactions between vulnerability and precipitating factors are partially supported. Six significant interactions between vulnerability factors and precipitating factors explain 14% of the variance in physical dating violence.
