Abstract
Retailers' numerous action on ethical issues-social labels, eco-action, communication campaigns, and so on-demonstrate their churrent interest in ethics. thic paper highlights the prerecuisites for retailers' relevant and seccessful ethical marketing. our results from an empirical study, including, interviews with management executive of major retailers and NGOs, show that local actions are the key to ethical efficiency for retailers.
