Pengaruh Konsensus Strategik Terhadap Sikap Kerja dan Kinerja pada Hotel Bintang di Jawa Tengah dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

This research explain how stag the influence of strategic consensus toward performance and the role of work attitude as a moderating variable of the influence for star hotel in Jawa Tengah and Daerah Itimewa Yogyakata. Based on theoretical review, two hypotheses was formulated, those are : 1. Strategic consensus influence performance positively, that is the higher the strategic consensus the higher the performance, and 2. Indirect influence of strategic consensus toward performance throughout work attitude (job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and job involvement) is stronger than direct influence of strategic consensus toward performance" To get data about strategic consensus, work atitude and performance of star hotel, manager was chosen as a respondent (saturation sampling), which is each star hotel are send 5 (five) questionaire by mail. Total sampel are 43 star hotel (34.13% of 126 star hotel), consists of 19 star hotel in Jawa Tengah and 24 star hotel in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta analitical method used in this research is a structural equation model (SEM). The result of the research as follows : 1. strategic consensus only has a limited explanation about profit, occupancy rate and the average length of stay of star hotel guests 2. hipotheses that stated strategic consensus has a positive influence toward a star hotel performance is rejected due to : a. the influence of strategic consensus toward star hotel profit although positive but not significant b. the influence of strategic consensus toward star hotel occupancy rate although positive but not significant, and c. the influence of strategic consensus toward star hotel guest's lenght of stay is negative 3. the direct influence of strategic consensus toward star hotel performance are : a. the influence of strategic consensus toward star hotel profit is negative and weak b. the influence of strategic consensus toward star hotel occupancy rate is positive and strong, and c. the influence of strategic consensus toward star hotel guest's length of stay is negative and strong 4. the indirect influence of strategic consensus toward star hotel performance troughout work attitude is stronger than direct influence for star hotel profit and average guest's length of stay. Therefore, there are exist the role of work attitude as a moderating variable for the influence of strategic consensus toward star hotel performance, and 5. goodness of fit index saw that the structural equation model between strategic consensus and star hotel performance throughout work attitude is not good enough. It is means that, although the model is theoretically good but not support emperically.
