Isi artikel
Musical instruments usually have sustained capability. It means volume decreases slowly while frequency is constant. This research produce a sound for musical instrument with sustain capability and to be able to play several notes simultaneously. It is implemented in the MCS - 51 family, a general purposed microcontroller, simple Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) used to produce sustain note. To play several notes simultaneously, Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM) is used. From the experiments, the MCS - 51 family can produce sound with sustain capability. There is a little problem in combining several notes, because the sounds produced by the system are not satisfied.
