Isi artikelPhilippines is a lower middle income country that is classified as developing country. From exporting raw materials to other countries, the Philippine industry started to shift into manufacturing. The country is continuously pursuing an export-growth strategy based on more open markets and increased foreign direct investment. This paper aims to discuss the profile on Innovation of the Philippines with regards to the following areas: macroeconomic performance and framework conditions for innovation; innovation performance, innovation policy orientations and frameworks, national innovation system and human resources.
