We can also try to find wider possibilities of implementing si Kancil stories in all language skills teaching involved in EFL teaching and learning including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Concerning the popularity of si Kancil among Indonesian children, we can surely expect, ‘he’ will be able to attract the young learners’ attention immediately at the time the teacher introduces the character, and some readjustment of the teaching techniques will make him attract the young learners’ attention.
