This paper proposed a structured model for software projects development selection using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). A usability evaluation of the AHP-based model was done in Vita Insani Hospital in which software projects development would be selected to be developedfurzher The model was developed using evidence from empirical study. Brainstorming and dialectical approaches were used to generate and to analyse the criteria that influence the software projects development selection. This study focuses on identjfying the management c priorities for software projects development selection given the criteria identified by the expert and the goal of Vita Insani Hospital. The experts involved in this study were the Director, Vice Director, and IT Manager of Vita Insani Hospital. There were two objectives in this study Thefirst objective was helping Vita Insani Hospital in determining the software project development would give more benefit to them. Second, the management of Vita Insani Hospital could use the priorities as guidelines for their resource allocation decisions.
