Isi artikelMagnetic nanoparticle based on Fe3O4 and biodegradable polymer polylactic acid (PLA) has been synthesized by micro-emulsion technique using ultrasonic irradiation. The particle size, the dispersion stability in water and the existence as well as the magnetic properties of the particles were studied. The results show that the biodegradable polymer coated particles hace size average of 800 nm and can be dispersed stabile in water for more than 21 days. The existence of Fe3O4 within the collodial system could be confirmed from the XRD diffraction pattern. The magnetic saturation values of the PLA coated Fe3O4 prepared in this study was 5 emu/g sample or indicated 40% loading factor
