Agriculture plays an important role in Indonesia, mainly to provide food, foreign exchange and raw materials for industry. Government allocates its regular budget and development budget for funding agricultural development. Each fiscal year, there is a 14.66% increase in the regular budget. Most of it is allocated to pay salaries of civil servants in The Ministry of Agriculture. Meanwhile the development budget is spent for agricultural main and supporting programs. In the case of main programs, budget allocation has increased 14.88% per year in the last 4 years. Data showed that the growth of regular budget and development budget for agriculture was balanced.
