Customer oriented production system are considered to have a high degree if flexibility. They need information feedback from the shop floor in order to influence the product flow in short time intervals in a non-periodic, order dependent way to meet the needs of a highly dynamic market. This type of productions system is considered in this paper. This paper discusses the modeling of production system with linear dynamic approach. A model of an elementary production system is work in process. Some simulation results are given.
