To maintain the competitive advantages for semiconductor industry, it is important to utilize various resources efficiently. This study aims to construct rolling forecast model for inter-fab performance evaluation among different fabs based on data development analysis. An empirical data from a semiconductor company in Taiwan was conducted to validate the proposed model. The inter-fab performance forecast results can provide decision makers early alarm to adjust resource allocation to avoid the future efficiency loss. Thus, the results showed the practical viability of the proposed approach.
