Isi artikelThe purpose of this research is to know the effect of Social Skill Training with Stop Think Do method in social adjustment in children. It is assumed that social skill training will increase social adjustment skill in children. To reach the purpose, this research was conducted in experimental method. The Subjects are Elementary School Students (n = 8), which is divided randomly into two group, experimental group and control group. The experimenter gave social skill training as a treatment for the experimental group, while the control group was given nothing. Analysis data using independent sample t-test of a questionnaire of Thurstone scale measuring social adjustment. The result shows there is difference between experimental and control group after the treatment (coefficient (t) = 3,170 with p = 0,019). It means that social skill training with Stop Think Do method can increase social adjustment skill in children.
