Isi artikelToday the demands for higher productivity is forcing manufacturers toward high speed machining. To optimizing the advadtage of using the high speed machining it is necessary to understand the technological performance measures such as cutting forces, temperatures, etc in terms of work material properties at these very high speeds. However, this research on this paper is primarily concerned with development of a predictive theory of machining for high speed machining for material other than plain carbon steels. The predictive theory is rçquired to predict the forces, tool life, temperatures, etc to improve productivity within a manufacturing environtment. This paper describes how to predict the forcesbased on the Oxley maching theory who has developed the predictive theory method The work material of lower carbon steel with 0.07%C was machined by using turning machine on the high speed machining based on the Oblique machining method The results offorces predicted and experimental are plotted together for the comparison and analysis was made to see the validating of the methodology.
