Tinea imbricata is a relapsing chronic superficial dermatophitosis caused by Trychophiton concentricum with characteristic morphological lesion squamous papules which arranged in concentric circles. There are some endemic areas in Indonesia: Sulawesi, West Papua, and central in East Indonesia. It was a case of tinea imbricata in a female, 22 years old from Alor, NTT who has suffered this disease over 15 years and didn't get any therapy regularly. There were many people around her suffering from this disease, like her sister and neighbors. The diagnosis was based on anamnesis with scally skin and itchy, a typical clinical features and laboratory finding by potassium hydroxide preparation was positive. This patient administered with griseofulvin 500 mg/day, until 4 weeks and showed clinical improvement and KOH examination became negative.
