Unlike quantitative data analysis, qualitative data analysis normally dela with large amounts of tests which may be resulted from depth interview, focus group discussion, or observation. This paper discusses the usage, benefits and types of computer - assisted qualitative data analysis software (CAQDAS). Furthermore, the paper also elaborates the benefits of using NVivo as a tool of qualitative data analysis. Comparisons between analysing manually and by using NVivo are demonstrated to show ways in which NVivo supports the process of analysis. Finally, the paper also presents ways in which NVivo supports the researcher to meet the criteria of credibility, dependability, and confirmability to achieve better quality of research.
