This research aimed to study the effect of noise on the number of spermatozoids. Twenty-seven adult males Rattus norvegicus were used in this research, and they were divided into 3 groups. The first group was the control group without any treatment, while the second group was treated with noise 8 hours/day for 12 days, and the third group was treated with noise 8 hours/day for 24 days. Chronic intermittent noise was used, with intensity of 102-105 dB and frequency of all phase (63 Hz - 8 KHz). After treatment, all rats in each group were decapitated, the cauda epididymis were taken to count a number of spermatozoids. The second group were decapitated on day 12, while the first and third groups were decapitated on day 24. Statistical analysis with One Way Analysis of Variance (ANOV A) showed that there was a significant decrease (p=O,OOOO) in the number of spermatozoites between control, after noise treatment for 12 :lnd 24 days, and there was a significant d~.crease in the number of spermatozoites after noise treatment for 24 days.
