Change is the name of the game these days. new technology tools potentially useful for learning are appearing with increasing rapidity- e-mail, the internet, instant messaging, blogs, wikis, wikipedia, podcasting, peer-to-peer file sharing, complex and massively multiplayer computer games, augmented reality, mobile phones, digital cameras, google earth, personal GPS, social networking sites like myspace and facebook, and video collections such as youtube have all appeared or come of age within the last five years.
