Antisperm antibody can cause sperm agglutinated or immobilated. Infertility caused by anti-sperm-antibody (ASA) bind to relevant antigen which is involved in the fertility function. ASA can be detected by sperm agglutination and immobilization test. Sperm agglutination test can be done with Gelatin Agglutination test (Kibrick-Belding-Merril methods) or micro agglutination test (Franklin-Dukes methods). Sperm immobilization test can be done with complement substitution to head-inactived test serum. The influence of sperm agglutination and sperm immobilization to fertility interfere the capacity of sperm penetration to cervical mucus, and then ASA interferes the fertility of oocytes. The other research indicates that if there are ASA in sperm or women serum can cause abortus.
