Isi artikelThis study was aimed to define influence of folicle size on chromosome transformation level of goat oocytes. Folicle where devided into two groups, based on the criterion of folicle diameter larger or smaller than 100 µm. Oocytes where matured in TCM 199 with the addition of 5 µg/ml LH, 3% BSA and 50 mg/ml gentamycine sulfate. After incubation for 22 hours, the oocytes where stained with 1% aceto orcein. Result showed that the oocytes colected from folicle of less than 100 µm diameter reached GV, GVBD, M I, M II at 8%, 64%, 13% and 15% respectively. While the oocytes colected from large size folicles reached GVBD, M I, and M II at 24%, 26% and 50% respectively. From these result it could be concluded that folicle larger than 100 µm showed better maturations compared with those of folicles less than 100 µm.
