The purpose of this study was know the correlation between the Intake Oxygen Maximum (IO2 max) with nutritional status. This was an observational study which was done cross-sectionally on 61 respondent which was taken randomly from 62 of population (student of Public Health Faculty of the second semester) with certain condition. Nutritional status, age and fitness index were used as independent variables, and the dependent variable was the IO2 max. Nutritional status was measured by BMI (Body Mass Index Method), wherease IO2 max and fitness index were measured by ergocycle test. Then, data was analyzed statistically by using multivariate regression test. The result showed that there was significantly correlation between IO2 and Fitness Index (p < 0,05) but there were no significantly correlation between IO2 max with nutritional status (BMI) and age ( p > 0,08). Based on the result above, it is recommended to other researchers to conduct the same research with other variables which influence to IO2 max.
