Isi artikelThe main objective of this research was (1) to know the influence of callus sugar cane (Saccharum spp) var. PS 862 differentiated and plantlet sugar cane growth by irradiated gamma Co60 ray (2) to know the effective of gamma Co60 ray irradiated to callus differentiated and growth of sugar cane induction plantlet tebu (Saccharum spp) var. PS 862. This research utilized of young leaf explants of shoot sugar cane (Saccharum spp) var. PS 862 from Horticulture Sugar Cane Indonesia Research Center (P3GI) Pasuruan. Media was used of Murashige-Skoog (MS) I and MSII. This observation was done by destruction and Randomized complete design method by 7 treatments and each treatment by 4 replications. The Seven treatments were K (control); callus not irradiated; R1: callus irradiated by gamma Co60 ray 100 red; R2: callus irradiated by gamma Co60 ray 300 rad; R3: callus irradiated by gamma Co60 ray 500 rad; R4: callus irradiated by gamma Co60 ray 700 rad; R5: callus irradiated by gamma Co60 ray 900 rad; and R6: callus irradiated by gamma Co60 ray 1100 rad. The observation was execute each 4 weeks one time after to cultivate fro m MS II during 12 weeks. To know irradiated gamma Co60 ray influence to callus differentiated and plantlet sugar cane (Saccharum spp) var. PS 862 growth data were analyzed by Varian analysis 5% sign. When it’s significant influences continuing by Duncan examination.
