Isi artikelElectronic networks can expand markets on a global basis while reducing transactions costs and the need for intermediaries. How these networks are formed and joined will influence the cost of doing business as well as the overall efficiency of the economy. The role of government is still unclear, information and communication technologies must not be considered compartmentally, and issus relating to acess and the principal of essential facilities must be addressed.
