In this erroneous modern world, few societal powers have shaped the way this world is nm: Science-Technology Complexes (SCT), State-Government, and Globalized Market Economy (GME) of The World. The following paper analyses interaction between these three forms of power using the case of transgenic plant, Indonesia, and Trans-National Corporation (Monsanto) as the focal points of analysis representing the SCT, State-Government and the GME respectivelly. Green revolution and the Monsanto Affair in Indonesia have been used to show that the interaction has its historical base. The case demonstrates that the power uses both community and biophysical environment as the medium for their over-expression. While approving some benefits, this power over-expression causes danger to plant biodiversity, genetic instability at population level or rice, shapes long-turn rice supply instability, causes problems in food politics, increases socio-economic disparities, and vitalises neo-colonialism.
