The region around health center in Sambas, West Kalimantan province is a distric with the most numerous poor families, nevertheless it is found children under 2 years old with good nutritional status. The objective of this study is to acquire the influential factors to the good nutritional status of the children. Design of this study is cross sectional and supported by focus group discussion. The total of samples are 236 children under two years old The result of this study showed that the influential factor of the nutritional status was age of the first complemeniaryfeeding given, so the socialization should be carried out emphazising how important to give complementary feeding at appropiate age, 4-6 months of age.
