The study of trypanocidal capacity of tripamidium, against trypanosoma evansi Bangkalan Isolates by: Rostantia Indrawati **, Ratna Sofia Munir ** and Lazuardi M***. It has been sugestid the emergice of the resistant of pathogenic flagilate parasitis against mony trypanocidal ctng. The susceptilility of trypanosoma evansi against isometamidium chlraide (trypamidium®) will be studied. The tested parasiti was propogated in rat and the parasitis were hoursted from blood specimen by filtning dienthyl amino ethyl cellolose and was diluted in to 3 X 102 parasitis per ml as a medium. Tripamidimu® (contain 65-80% active ctng) was dispensid in a serial concentration of 0.01, 0,03, 0.05, 0.1; 2; 5; 7 and 10 ppm in a test medium, and in cubated 37° C for 24 hours. The result showed that the minimal trypanocidal concentration was 11.5 rg/ml active ingradient of trupamidium; it woold be usiful as a basic flought for the treatment of trypanosoma evansi infection.
