Isi artikelIn this study we examined the in vivo effects of extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields (ELF-EMF) emitted by 500 kV high-voltage power-line on mononuclear cell respopnse of white rats. A total fourty white rats (Rattus Norwegicus), male strain wistar were used as experimental animals. A Randomize Separate Sample Posttest Control Desaign was used in this study. There were natural intensity (0,004 kV; 0,046 uT) and exposure intensity (1,162 – 2,148 kV; 1,167 – 1,717 uT). The units of analysis in this research was macrophages in duodenum moucosa white rats exposed electromagnetic fields ELF for 4 weeks and 8 weeks. The research concludes that extremely low frequency (ELF) electromagnetic fields emitted by high-voltage transmission-line 500 kV for 4 weeks or 8 weeks cannot induced mononuclear cell response of white rats. The indicates that extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields emitted by high-voltage transmission-line 500 kV function morely as environmental physics stressor that is adaptable by white rats immune system.
