Isi artikelSuperquadric is a parametric surface with an arbitrary exponent. The equation of the superquadric is usually long and the result is hard to be imagined without any visualisation. By visualizing this equation, the mathematician or other researcher can get a better understanding about the equation. Meanwhile, ray tracing is known as a method to visualize objects with high realism. Therefore it is desirable to apply ray tracing as a method to visualize the superquadric object. This research has successfully visualized the superquadric objects realistically due to the effect of the light that fall on the superquadric surfaces.
