Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG) as a grapical form in web environment offers several advantages. This capability is suitable for map applications. A case study of finding the nearest health center is developed. SVG is generated from the Shapefile of ArcView application. XML structure adapted by SVG offers easy connectivity with web environment and database. Avenue from ArcView is used to generate source data in SVG and MySQL form. PHP is used as server script and SVG DOM and Javascript as client script.Testing on the modules of the application and the everall applications have shown that they work as expected.
