The number of renal diseases was increasing during the last two decades, meanwhile the number of renograph provide for renal test available in hospitals is still limited. after the economic crisis hit Indonesia in 1997, import equipments from abroad went down due to relatively price increase. in order to fulfill the need of medical diagnosti instruments in hospital, BATAN developed some renograph prototypes using nuclear technology since the first generation without computer system to the fifth with computer system operated on windows 95/98 and 98/2000.
