Isi artikel
The arbuscular mycorrhizl fungi (AMF) associated with tropical kudzu (pueraria ohaseoloides (roxb.) bth.) and para grass (brachiaria mutica (forssk.) stapf) in the forages collection padock in jonggol, near bogor were identified. Tropical kudzu was associated with five species of AMF while para grass was associated with six species of AMF. Acaulospora tuberculata, glomus sp 1 (globisporum), G mosseae and scutellospora heterogama was found associated with both plants, while glomus sp. 2 (multi hypae) was found in the rhizosphere of tropical kudzu. However then glomus sp. 3 (cf. globisporum) and glomus constrictum were associated with para frass. The colonization of AMF in both plants was also observed, In this study the number of AMF colonies and spore population were influenced by plant species, plant growth, leaf cutting and the application of fertilizer.
