The research conducted in order to know the effect of gulma to the growth and productivity of green pea's varieties (Phaseolus radiatus, L). the research carried out on May until September 2004, in Madiun fram area. The research method use factorial attemps which two split plot factors design. three varieties of green peas in the main seed-bed. the varieties are local variety (v1), 129 variety (v2), and bethet variety (v3). and gulma used are treatment factors. the green peas planti in four different ways. it is planted without gulma (g), teji (Cyperus rotundus, L) (g1), reed (Imperata cylindria, L) (g2), and thorn-spinach (Amaranthus spinosus, L) (g3)
