Isi artikel
On January 8, 2002, Presidebt George W. Bush signed the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), cited as one of the federal government's most aggressive and far-reaching attemps to improve K-12 education. Containing the most sweeping changes toi the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) since that legislation was anacted in 1965, NCLB has changed the federal government's role in K-12 education by holding school across the United States accountable for the achievement of all students, and asking them to describe their success in terms of what each student has accomplished.
