Warehouse design is one of the most important factor in manufacturing system, especially finished goods warehouse because this warehouse is used to store finished goods that will be distributed to customer. An effective finished goods warehouse design will reduce the finished good's transportation cost and the overall production cost of the company. PT. X is a company that produce industrial paper. Paper that was produced by the company has many types and sizes, so it is necessary to have storage that was design systematically to make it easier for the delivery service to the customer. the writer would like to analyzed finished goods warehouse layout at the beginning analysis of finished goods warehouse layout at PT. X are not optimal, example for finished goods warehouse H with overall transportation cost Rp. 6.605.367,6. The more optimal is the recommendation finished goods warehouse layout with overall transportation cost is Rp. 6.498.5233,99 for Finished Goods Warehouse H.
