In carrying out that harmony in development, ergonomics application must be conducted through total approach, in which the concept of Appropriate Technology and SHIP approach must be done consequently. Appropriate Technology and SHIP approach must be done consequently. Appropriate Technology is the comprehensive assessment of technological choice and or transfer, through six criteria, namely it must be technically, economically, ergonomically, social culturally sound, safe energy and preserve the environment. While doing all that assessment, the process must be analyzed through SHIP (Systemic, Holistic, Interdisciplinary and Participatory) approach. By doing so we could minimize even avoid the emerging impacts, and obtain humane, competitive and sustain production process and products as well.
