The purpose of this article was to identify the factors that influence the woman's condition and welfare in Montasik, Aceh Besar. some of the factors identified were economic, communication, tradition, and culture. detailed studies on these factors were needed to understand and find out interdependencies between the embroidery makers and souvenir traders. the data were collected by interviewing and observing the makers and traders. the resercaher was conducted in Lam Me, Montasik.
