Corporate actions are very important activities done by public enterprises to maintain its interest in improving its competitiveness within a certain business environment. Some actions have negative significant impact on its share price, so that it need to be disclosed in order to all public share holders could make best decision. Measures done by PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) since 1998 up to 2005 need to be documented, reviewed, and studied, due to the financial engineering uniqueness. Readers can make use of this paper either for developing a case study concerning financial engineering or taking this paper as example in a corporate finance classroom.
