KRS system is subject enrollment system, that is conducted every semester by students. Students register the subjects offered by study program;: imito the enrollment semester. Study Program of informatics, Faculty of Industrial TEchnology Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University use the normative tradiotional KRS system;:. Traditional system guarantee that any subject that does not violate the rule is allowed to he picked up by students, even though the subject is not appropriate for the students. This paper tries to forward the idea amid imnplementation of adaptive KRS system. Adaptive KRS system provide recommendation about what most appropriate subjects the students should pick up. The system adapts the students who log on, and try to give best recommendation. The recommendation is based on several things that unique to students. Thai is why the system is called adaptive. Each student mnay have different recommendation from each other. The basis which originate the recommendation lists as follows subjects the students have aliready passed, mark of those subjects, total SCU (Semnester Credit Unit,), elective subjects students have allready passed, the semester the students al/ready passed, and SCU rate. Testing tells that student,s had been provided with appropriate recommnendation, and system run properly.
