Alzheimer Disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder, characterized by declining of cognitive function (memory, language, visuospatial, and other executive function). A wide atrophy of cerebral cortex is found on post mortem examination. There are neuritic plaque with amyloid core and neurofibrillary tangles with paired helical filaments on microscopic neuropathological description. The etiology of AD is still unclear. What we know till now is involving of various factors - either genetic or environment - which is causing neurons and synaptic junctions loss / death. Many researches have indicated the involvement of inflammatory mechanisms in AD The findings of acute-phase protein (such as O-antichymotrypsin and C-reactive protein), microglia cells, activated astroglia, and cytokine (such as Inierleukin-6) in the brain of Alzheimer 's people, have strengthened an assumption that there are a local activation of inflammatory system components. Inflammatory reaction is estimated as an Important contributor towards the neurons lass / death. Epidemiologic researches have also shown that population who previously have ever had anti inflammatory drugs, significantly could decline the prevalence of AD, retard the onset of AD, as well as depress its progressiveness.
