Isi artikel
Exercise Induced Asthma (EIA) is a clinical syndrome characterized by transient airflow obstruction typically 5 - 8 minutes after cessation of physical exertion or high exercise intensity. the diagnosis of exercise-induced asthma is confirmed by a recorded fall in the peak expiratory flow rate or by a reduction of FEV, 10% or more after an exercise challenge test. the goal of the therapy fo EIA is to prevent of markedly reduce the severity of EIA so that individual can participate in exercise activity without any disturbances. non pharmacological therapy like aerobic training with adequate warming up can increase the fitness with EIA.
