Staphylococcus aureus, aerobic with gram positive stain bacteria, is one of the most common cause infections acquired in hospitals (nosocomial infection). this species is human normal flora in upper respiratory tract and skin. multidrug-resistant strains of staphylococcus have been reported with increasing frequency worldwide, especially to methicillin (MRSA). resistance S. aureus to quinolones began to be noted among highly susceptible species, slightly less susceptible spesies, and less susceptible spesies. resistance among S. aures has been particularly troublesome. this study was made to observed S. aures isolates with MRSA and quinolones resistance.
