Transportation is the main contributor to CO emission in Jakarta. Local government has been doing many efforts to reduce CO emission through various local regulations (perda). However, these are so far unable to solve the CO emission problem. The objective of this study is to describe the behaviour of CO emission using dynamics system approach. Dynamic system is one of the approaches that look upon interactions among related variables in the system. Dynamic system predicts the behaviour of parameters of interest due to the variables behaviour and their interactions. Simulation was conducted for 30 year periods for several scenarios. these are status quo condition, intervention in number of vehicles sub model and invention in CO emission loading sub models.
