Isi artikel
In the last view years, a number of publications have challenged the fundamental assumptions of constructivist, and more generally postmodern, approaches to teaching and learning. a number of these challenges have come from scientists (Cromer, 1997; Dawkins, 1997; Sokal & Bricmont, 1998; Wilson, 1998) who deplore postmodernists' insistence that scientific knowledge is, at best, entirely subjective and therefore not amenable to discovery through experiment, or, at worst, a plot by western white males to establish hegemony over the intellectual, social, and political lives of everyone else.
