The efficacy of afirmation method was tested to reduce the anxiety of cervic carcinoma through a one sample pretest -posttest design. Subjects (N = 2) were 2 cervix cancer stadium 2 patients, which were participating in a affirmation method, twice a day during 2 weeks. The data were tested with the Wilcoxon non - parametric analysis. Results show that the affirmative method was not effective to reduce anxiety of the 2 cervix cancer patients, especially in a patient's uncontrolled condition , such as attitude, and support of their husbands, family and the surrounding communty. It is suggested to use this method to reduce anxiety which is related directly to the patient herself, such as anxiety to death.
