IMMEX - interactive multi-media exercises- was developed twelve years ago by UCLA immunology professor Ron Stevens for evaluating and sharpening the diagnostic skills of medical students. frustrated by the limititations of multiple choice exams and the regurgitive nature of traditional assessments, Dr. Stevens sought a more progressive view of what his students had learned and how they would apply it.
