Until recently, if you asked most educators to define learning, the would say that it was a relatively permanent change in behavior. why? because that was the definition that they were taught in their psychology courses. also, because, behaviorism was probably the remembered best. but learning is far more then a change in behavioral tendencies. learning is a phenomenally complex process- much more complex than the stimulus-response connections envisioned by behavioral psychologists or the information process conceived by the cognitive phychologists who follwed them.
