Discipline is an operative function of human resource management. The better the discipline of employee, the higher the capability of work achieved. Without applying discipline to employee, it is difficult for government organization or private company to reach optimal results. By discipline, someone will be ready to comply with regulations and performs his or her job with self awareness. In building smooth, fresh and consisten discipline, an organization requires strategy to grow positively, have clear priority, continuous and high commitment. Strategy in applying discipline in the short term is simple. It can be done by focusing on three aspects namely order, wrking and clean practices. This objective can be performed by comprehending moral, intelectual and mental matters to all employees on the importance of discipline in the life of private, and government sectors. The application of strategy in the long term is a continuous and consistent training experience. Regulation of discipline that covers job comprehension, responsibility of all employees and mental behaviour is part of an employee's life cycle. An advanced organization can be achieved beacuse of high discipline of employees that is bome from personal, grouped, combined or the entire employee's discipline.
