Now a days, the growth of automotive industry with its need is tending up words the production quality is demanded to be better then average, whereas the production cost needs to be pressed as low as possible so that products can compete in the market. Refer to above matter, the way to get lowest production cost is to combine two machine components become one but still perform both functions. The component that can be doubled it's function is the motorcycle's sprockets which can be use as back wheel disc brake. For that purpose, it needs to conduct a research on how to change the mechanical characteristic of the material of the sprockets, such as with solidifying the induction surface in order to have the solid and tough cover within this research, the induction solidifying is done by having several heating time, that are, 5, 10, and 15 second after words, checking the hardness and weathering has to be done. From the test result can be showing the degree of the hardening, the material weathering velocity and the resistance of the sprockets which also function as a motorcycle's back wheel disc brake.
