Every vehicle, especially cars has door locks which are essential parts. Child safety lock is created to prevent any door disturbance that came from inside the car. Child safety lock's lever is hidden beside the door. This condition makes the operator or driver meet difficulties to activate the child safety lock in a critical situation. The development of child safety lock to central child safety lock gives an easier to the driver. Driver can activate it electronically with a single button with no decease of the required safety factor. This design process uses the VDI 2221 method to evaluate all possible variants. The result of this design is a child safety lock model which is assembled to a car door miniature with an electronic control. Generally, the function of this central child safety lock model is satisfied.
